Collections

The collections are a series of images which are part of a study into the movement of objects in stills photography. The study is about revealing shapes and elements that are not usually visible by the human eye. Through this process I create visually stunning images which through large format prints have a very painterly quality to them. The images can be viewed close up and in detail as well as from a distance. Through the blurring process, which is all done in a single frame in-camera, the actual object loses its regular shape and is transformed into something new. At this stage, it is up to the viewer to interpret what he or she sees.​
